MASSEKAH FINE DINING, NEW TOWN, KOLKATA

Massekah is a theme restaurant which justifies its name, meaning “the Veil”. The theme kept in mind while developing the design were Shadow, Dim Lights & Flowing Fabrics. Key points considered to develop the concept of this 70 seater restaurant were – the Menu, North West Province, Afghan, Turkish & Arabian look.

Massekah gives us the visuals of rustic, desert, rough terrain, rocky, desert & camels. The overall look and ambience of the Massekah gives a thought and feel of unknown, illusion, privacy and leisure. The Design elements which together build up the concept are the rustic floor, raw wood, rough surface, shear curtains, free flowing fabric and “jali” screens.
