CHEMTEX SPECIALITY LIMITED, KOLKATA

Commissioned to design a 4000 sq ft area with a rather hefty requirement of separate areas for executives & general work areas seemed impossible at the beginning. Taking advantage of the 14’ high ceiling, the design team along with the clients initiated the idea of a mezzanine, which not only solved the problem of space but the double height enriching the aesthetics providing more room to play with.

Tranquil &colourful at the same time, the design separates the executive chambers, meeting room & lounge areas on the upper level whereas the general workstation area along with the reception and waiting are situated below.

Folding planes of glass, wood, coloured surfaces and double heights collectively create the “work & fun” atmosphere for this office space.
